Year 10 had the opportunity on the 11^th May to participate in an interactive public speaking workshop led by expert Hilary Lyons. The all day workshop helped the girls develop their confidence and communication skills. These skills are vital for both school and later life. The session also helps improve emotional wellbeing: the self-confidence to share your perspectives has positive mental health impacts through building a positive self-identity. By talking on subjects that matter to them, each of the girls helped contribute to a better shared understanding of their peers opinions and perspectives. Ms Lyons was impressed by the girls enthusiasm and engagement.
